As a devoted Health and P.E. teacher at Springfield Middle School in Lucama NC, Ms. Alphin is more than an educator — she’s a shining light in her students’ lives. Her patience, joy, and dedication reflect the heart of a true servant leader, helping young people grow not only in knowledge but also in character. Through her steady encouragement, she inspires and equips students to thrive both inside and outside the classroom, leaving a lasting impact for His glory.

Each month, we invite parents who have kids in a local school in the Triangle, Sandhills or across Eastern NC to nominate a teacher who has been instrumental in helping your child or children in their studies and growth. Let us know why he or she deserves to be honored as HIS Radio's "Teacher of the Month"! We'll review submitted nominations and determine an instructor to honor. We'll plan a surprise visit to the school to acknowledge and bless them with a plaque, flowers, and gift baskets from participating businesses in the area.
