HIS Radio Mornings

Learn about LIZZ

Hi, I’m Lizz! I’ve been in radio for a hot minute, and for most of that time, I worked in secular radio. But in 2020—just two weeks before the world shut down—God opened the door for me to join HIS Radio, and it has been such a gift. I get to do what I love and share the hope of Jesus every day!

My dad introduced me to Jesus, but it was only once I had my own relationship with Him that I began my own, personal journey. I gave my heart to Christ at 13 during Vacation Bible School and I gave my life to Him, fully, in my 20s. He’s been my anchor ever since.

I’m married to the love of my life, and together we have three incredible kids, three beautiful grandbabies, and two spoiled fur babies. Now that we’re empty nesters, my husband and I are enjoying the extra time (and a little more wiggle room in the budget!) to travel and soak up this new season.

When I’m not behind the mic, I’m usually spending time with family, curled up with a good book, or planning our next adventure.

And speaking of adventures—I’m SO excited that Brian has joined me on HIS Radio Mornings! How much fun CAN we have in the mornings? Listen in and find out!

Learn about BRIAN

I was born and raised in Beckley, West Virginia, where Sundays meant church and weekday mornings started with the radio. I met my beautiful bride Lorren in junior high choir—we became best friends then and still are today.

My radio journey began at a Top 40 station in my hometown, where I hosted a Sunday night Contemporary Christian show. In 2000, after much prayer, God opened the door for me to step into Christian radio full-time. I joined HIS Radio in 2012.

Jesus became real to me a few months into our marriage. After an argument, I ended up watching The Ten Commandments alone on Easter weekend. That night, I surrendered my life to Jesus—and the next morning, Lorren told me she had done the same.

On weekends, Lorren and I love hiking local trails and playing mini golf, always ending the day with some good food. I’m grateful to be part of HIS Radio’s music and programming—and to share mornings with Lizz, who feels like my little sister.
