Teacher of the Month

HIS Radio invites you to join us in honoring some of the hardest working, sometimes under-appreciated members of our community: the teachers in our local schools.  These teachers go out of their way to invest time, finances, prayer, and personal attention into the lives their students!

Each month, we invite parents who have kids in a local school in the Triangle, Sandhills or across Eastern NC to nominate a teacher who has been instrumental in helping your child or children in their studies and growth.   Let us know why he or she deserves to be honored as HIS Radio's "Teacher of the Month"!  We'll review submitted nominations and determine an instructor to honor.  We'll plan a surprise visit to the school to acknowledge and bless them with a plaque, flowers, and gift baskets from participating businesses in the area.

Michael Grimes is HIS Radio’s Teacher of the Month for September 2024. Michael is the Band Director at Holly Ridge Middle School in Holly Springs, NC.
