Welcome to HIS Radio Helps, a resource page to connect the HIS Radio community with vital food assistance. In Matthew 25:35, Jesus said: "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in." Just as Jesus cared for others' spiritual and practical needs, so we aim to uplift, encourage, and take care of one another.

This space is designed to help families find the support they need—whether you are looking to find nearby pantries and assistance programs for your family, or seeking opportunities to help supply others with food by donating resources, time, or funds to local organizations.

  • Low Country Food Bank (Serves a 10-county area in South Carolina, including Charleston/Myrtle Beach ) 

  • Charleston Sports Pub (Starting Monday 11/3, CSP will be offering free kids meals at all CSP locations until the shutdown ends under these provisions *limit to 1 kids meal per day per child, *the child must be present, *Kids meals are for kids 13 and under, *dine-in only, *no purchase necessary)

  • Summerville Food Bank (The Summerville Food Bank will host three Saturday food giveaways: 10/25 from 10-11 AM, 11/22 from 10-11 AM, and 12/20 from 10-11 AM. Pickup is at Morningstar Storage - 310 Holiday Drive, Summerville, SC. Open to the community. No appointment required. First-come, first-served, while supplies last.)

    • Drive Through EMERGENCY FOOD DISTRIBUTION: SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16th from 11am-2pm.  First priority will be given to SNAP card holders and individuals laid off from their federal jobs.  Volunteers and Food Bank staff will be there to direct the distribution line.   Address:  500-B Spratt Street, Charlotte, NC 28206.
