The staff at Ruby Tuesday put two and two together when they saw one precious lady eating alone on Mother's Day.
Barbara Foy had been home waiting for her son to call. That much-hoped-for call never came, so she took herself out to lunch. Brave move, Barbara!
The wait staff made it their mission to make Barbara's Mother's Day sweet and memorable. She was treated to lunch and a basket of goodies. A fellow diner presented a rose to Barbara, who said she'd never felt so special in her life. She felt like a queen.
Lauren Nave, the general manager of the Ruby Tuesday said, "We wanted to make sure she knew how special she was on Mother's Day."
Way to GO Ruby Tuesday at Surfside Beach!
