Britt Dillard

Growing up in the Carolinas as the son of two wonderfully talented musicians, I was backstage or on stage from an early age.  I fell in love with music and drama while playing my favorite role as Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.  Having grown up in the church and with my love of drama, I was playing the part of Christian #3 in a musical called I Wonder when God stirred my heart.  I realized if I were to see Jesus that day He would not be impressed with my performance, because that is all it was.  I knew in my heart that He would have every right to say, "Depart from me - I never knew you."  That day I gave my heart to Jesus and began knowing Him - not just knowing about Him - and my life has never been the same!  I'm blessed with a godly wife, Canella, who is also my best friend, and two wonderful children who are both pursuing God in their areas of giftedness.

 

My interest as a radio DJ began in 1977, when in my fresh excitement for knowing Jesus I started a 30 minute contemporary Christian music radio program called The Sound of Light on a local rock station. When His Radio came on the air in 1983, a glorious partnership began which has now resulted in the creation of HisRadioZ - a bold alternative to the world's perspective on rock, pop and hip-hop, all focusing on Jesus Christ!
