I am originally from New York, born in Peekskill, NY. About 45 minutes from NYC.  I am a die hard Yankees Fan. My family moved to Florida in 1970 and I was 12 yrs. old, so I  was in New York long enough not to acquire the thick NY accent.  I spend over 25 yrs in Florida.  I Graduated from High School  in 1976.  One of the things I did at my high school was make the morning announcements. This probably is what got me interested in Broadcasting. I recall in my early teens I was hooked on Game shows and dreamed of being a Game show host some day.  I should have auditioned for Bob Barker’s job on the Price is Right. Ir attended St. Petersburg Junior College where I started the first on campus radio station WSJC .  I finished my last two years at the University of South Florida in Tampa. .

The journey of life has been a tough from time to time. However, I have found that Christ can take a tragedy in our life and turn it into a treasure.  I love the Rick Warren quote, “Your greatest ministry will likely come out of your deepest hurt.”  During my struggles I have leaned in two verses Romans 8:28 and Jeremiah 29:11.  In my spare time I enjoy walking and working out at the gym. I like to do 5K’s.  I recently got involved in a spin class and would love to venture out and ride a bike like Rob.  I love to serve. One of my new found discoveries since living on my own is that I love to make healthy dishes especially salads.

My best friend is my little dog Jake, who’ve I’ve nicknamed Pappy.   I am involved with a men’s mentoring group, Tool Time that meets regularly. Our motto is based on the bible verse Proverbs 27:17, Just as iron sharpens iron, friends sharpen the minds of each other.
